The International Newcomers' Network (INN) meets monthly to provide an opportunity for foreigners to obtain information about living in Beijing and to meet new friends. Topics and speakers change, however information about schools, medical facilities, culture clubs, and charitable organizations is available at every meeting.

INN Monthly Meetings

INN meetings are open to all foreign passport holders living in Beijing. Meetings are held on the last Monday of each month (except December) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The International Newcomers' Network does not have a membership fee. The fee for attending each meeting is RMB 40 which includes coffee, tea and pastries. It is not necessary to book in advance to attend INN meetings. Babysitting is available at our monthly meeting, 10 RMB per child.

At meetings no less than five charities are represented and supported by INN activities: AS&P, Bethel, Huiling, Magic Hospital and UNICEF. Thanks to the generosity of those attending our meetings, we were able to present a significant donation to each of these charities in 2008 again.

INN Neighborhood Coffee Mornings
San Li Tun/Chaoyang District and Shunyi area

The INN Coffee Mornings are purely social events in local cafes that allow you to get to know people who live close by, plus pick up a few tips and tricks from those who have been around the neighborhood awhile!

Arrival Survival Monday, August 30th, 10 AM The first few weeks in Beijing can be daunting for even the most seasoned of ex-pats Get some great practical tips on how to organise banking, telephone, utilities and other basic necesities in Beijing with a panel of experts and seasoned beijingers who have been there INN Monthly meeting will be held at the Capital Club Athletic Center (see the map and address to the left). Coffee, Chinese tea and pastries are covered in the admission fee of RMB 40.

INN NIGHT OUT On : July 27th 2010 From : 7:00 pm at : The Blue Frog 4-3-1, 3F, S4 Tower, Village at Sanlitun, 三里屯路19号院4号楼3楼, 4-3-1 INN extends it welcome to newcomers through our new "Night Out" events that will be held on the last Tuesday of each month. For all newcomers that are not able to attend the INN daytime events, this is the event for YOU! This month enjoy 1 for 1 drinks at the popular Sanlitun hangout - The Blue frog Meet up with other newcomers and long-terms residents in Beijing to share fun, friendship and tales of living in the nation's capital. INN BIG TREKKIE Ongoing throughout the month  INN Trekkie will be going on a new excursion on every wednesday   Past treks have explored 798, Tianyi Market, Coal Hill Park, Capital Museum, Geology Museum, Women's and Children Museum, Dong Jiao Market, Gaobeidian and various shopping outlets.
